Next day Jodha begum along with others start preparing for the shipment of spices to England. Birbal meets the British officers and informs them about Jalal’s decision of business proposal. Accordingly Jalal discusses about the same with Todarmal and decides to take the charge of spices business that will give more benefit to Mughal rein and the farmers. After some time Jodha begum pacifies Jalal for her taking the charge of the business of spices.
She also agrees to pay all the taxes for the import. He reads out a letter wherein she proposes to establish good relations with India and want to import spices made in Agra. By that time an officer of England’s Queen comes there. Initially Saleem denies but later on he agrees as it is Jalal’s order. Jodha begum plans to send Saleem and Maan Bai to Kashmir so that they can spend some time together and also the Emperor of Kashmir has called them for a meeting.

Jodha begum overhears his conversation with his troops. While all are making preparations for the wedding, Jodha begum’s niece Madhav Singh plans to kill Saleem and Jalal amidst the preparations. She warns Akbar, but he pays no heed to her comments.In the last episode we saw that Saleem agrees for marrying Maan Bai. Jodha also learns that someone is going to make an attempt of taking the king’s life. In addition to that, she begins to have her doubts about Benazir and her motives of being in Agra. Jodha on the other hand cannot tolerate Akbar and Benazir’s closeness.
